The Royal Dublin Horseshow is situated I the heart of Dublin, just as it has been in 139 years. Horse trailers are aligned in long columns and at the nearby roads is permanent signs, prohibiting trailer parking.

Someone might think that when more than 1200 horse moves into the capital city it will be great pain for the inhabitants. As all big events RDS influence the daily routines - but the Irish LOVE their Dublin Horseshow and many of the more than 80.000 spectators are from Dublin.

Horse people or not horse people they love THEIR Dublin Horseshow and it is a true family event to visit it. This morning my path passed ring 1, where "First Ridden Ponies" a competition for children took place. There was a true love from the spectators to both kids and ponies, who both seemed to be very focused on the task.
