Weltmeyer R.I.P
June 29, 20:51Yesterday afternoon Weltmeyer had to be put down after a serious case of colic.
Weltmeyer is the ancestor of a large number of horses spread across several continents, he appears in countless pedigrees and is probably one of the most important breedingstallions that have ever lived.

I remember meeting Hermanm Meyer some years ago. And he told the story about the name. They thought they had such a nice colt that he what a world horse and since the familyname was Meyer - he became Weltmeyer.
